He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Litz and Eliza Burkey Litz; and his sister Pam Litz. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hoover Litz; his children, Stephen Michael Litz and Emily Noe (Ernie); his grandchildren, Timothy Isaiah Litz, Hannah Grace Noe, Sarah Elizabeth Noe and Caleb Andrew Noe; his great grandchild Zaydian; and his caregiver Janet Cooper. He is also survived by cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buffalo Trail Baptist Church (1829 Sherwood Dr, Morristown, TN 37814). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Emma Jarnigan Cemetery (855 S Fairmont Ave, Morristown, TN 37813).
