He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman, Sr. Brady and Rachel Brady; and his siblings, James Tipton Brady, Ronald Lee Brady, Mary Belle Brady and Juanita Joyce Brogan.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Brady; his children, Sherman Neil Brady, Barry Brady (Tonya) and April Jones (Gary); and his grandchildren, Carson Brady Jones, Haley Brooke Smith (Gaitlin) and Tasha LaShae Lamb (Nick). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
