He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Southerland; his sister Linda Rickett; and his grandson Charles "Little Chuck" Southerland, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Charles Southerland, Melissa Kirby (Steven) and April Cooper; his grandchildren, Anastasia Frayar, Nickolas Toby, Andrew Toby, Mathew Toby, Amber Middleton, Christopher Toby, William Toby, Johnny Walker, Ashley Martin, David Southerland and Tony Southerland, Jr.; and his siblings, Judy McCravy, Jenny Rose and Bo Southerland. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
