He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Trent and Minnie Trent; his siblings, Bruce Trent, Nadine Livesay, Mary O'Donnel and Janice McNally; and his grandsons, B. J. Brown and Edward Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Lee Trent; and his children, Lisa Johnson (Johnny), Michelle Wicker (James), Kim Holt (John) and Mick Hollifield. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
