He was predeceased by: his son Steve Howerton; and his siblings, Dorothy Ball and Ernest Howerton. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; and his children, Ron Howerton (Kristie) and Laurel Lewis (Chad). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four sisters, and one brother.
