He is survived by: his children, Terry Yount (Billie), Tim Yount (Pam), Cora Davis and Stephanie Abraham (Andrew); and his pets, Snoopy and Monkey. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Willis Chapel Cemetery.
