He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mitchell and Bernice Mitchell; his brother Michael Mitchell; and his great grandchild Michael Mize. He is survived by: his wife Ann Mitchell; his children, Robert Mitchell (Susan) and Mary Lynn Tabor (David); his grandchildren, Lindsey Burgess (Calvin), Cynthia Poteet (Russell) and Gracie Ann Tabor; his great grandchildren, Addie Mize, Leah Burgess, Isabelle Poteet and Tiana Poteet; his brother James Moore Mitchell (Martha); his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Mitchell; and also Gretchen Zablocke.
