It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Crayne of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth "Poppy" Crayne; his parents, Arlie Crayne and Hazel Crayne; and his siblings, Harold Crayne, Carol Kay Cooper and Geraldine Grice.

He is survived by : his siblings, JoAnn Hall of Morristown, Barbara Marcum of Bossier City, Louisiana and Jerry Crayne of Moline, Illinois; his close friend Harold Knight. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.

“Dear Bro. Harold and family, I was so sad to hear about the passing of Bro. Crayne But so happy thinking about the reunion that must have been going on in heaven! Bro. Crayne was a precious man of God. I have so many memories of him from my earliest childhood memories at the Holy Church of God in Savannah to the all the times we visited the Pentecostal Assembly in Morristown. “Uncle Richard was a very peace loving man. He was a true man of God and he spoke the word very eloquently. He loved his family and his church family. He had a marvelous singing voice. All the little ones loved him and as they got older continued to tell stories of him. The mark that he left in this world will be felt for generations. I can only imagine the tremendous joy he felt as he entered Heavens Gate. We will miss him but are assured in the knowledge that we will see him again. Geraldine”
