Richard Allen Hooper Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2022, at the age of 61, Richard Allen Hooper of Morristown, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harley and Emma Sue Hooper of Tellico Plains; and his brother James Gary "Butch" Hooper of Cleveland. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Hooper (Imhoff); his children, Emilia Farmer, Deirdre Barber (Seth) of Knoxville, Richard Andrew Hooper of Newport and Sean Christian Hooper of Morristown; his grandsons, Elijah and Ethan Barber of Knoxville; his cousins, Howard Hooper, Mary Minic (Michael), Bruce Hooper, Charlie Hooper, Tammy Kilby, Keith Kilby, Diana Zacharias (Veronica), Michelle Zingale (Chuck) and Sheila Fisher (Ken); his nephews, T. J. Hooper (Nicole), Kristofer Mann (Helen) and Joseph Smakula; his sisters-in-law, Catherine Imhoff of Laurel and Lucinda Mann (Ken) of Rittman, Ohio; and his close friends, Robert "Skip" Sykes and Duay O'Neal. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 206 N. Jackson St., Morristown, TN 37814, or in memory of Richard Hooper to any charitable organization.
