She was predeceased by: her husband Dayton Howerton; her parents, George Helton and Ella Helton; and her siblings, Nettie Jarnigan of Morristown, Marie Helton of Tazewell, Clayton Helton (Ellora), Eugene Helton, Junior Helton (Rosa Mae Cope) and Edward Helton of Tazewell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Howerton (Kathy) and Sharon Blair (Dan); her grandchildren, Josh Howerton of Knoxville, Laith Howerton of Morristown, Austin Blair (Sara Spires) of Charlotte, NC and Randle Blair of Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Tyler Howerton of Morristown and Hunter Derringer of Rogersville; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Helton and Velma Helton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Central Baptist Church.
