She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Sunderland; her parents, Lewis Phillips and Patricia Phillips; and her siblings, Sandra Smith and James Phillips.

She is survived by: her siblings, Charlotte Smith (Fred) and Terry Phillips; her niece Candi Smith; her great-nephews, Logan Smith and Bobby Short; her great-niece Hayley Smith; and her boyfriend Larry Greene.
