She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest "Bob" McFarling; her parents, Tony B. Blackwell and Emily Shumate Blackwell; and her siblings, Thomas James Blackwell (Bette) and Nellie Inez Payne (Clifton).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Ann McFarling of Morristown, William Ernest McFarling (Jennifer) of Raleigh, NC and Thomas Edward McFarling (Kim) of Knoxville, TN; and her grandchildren, John William McFarling, Matthew Brian McFarling (Alayna), Rachel Karen McFarling and Seth Anthony McFarling. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Morristown.
