He is survived by: his son Harley Carpenter; his siblings, Angela Lawson of Morristown, Gary Carpenter of Morristown and Andrian Carpenter; his niece Crystal Holt; and his nephews, Ricky of Newport and Nichols Purkey of Newport. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
