He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Holt; his daughter-in-law Lori Holt; his parents, Delmas Holt and Hattie Holt; his brother Charles Holt; and his pet Camper.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Holt and Betty Jolley; his grandchildren, Stephanie and Thomas Jolley; and his sisters, Joann Brooks and Brenda Long. He is also survived by family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
