He is survived by: his children, Richard Fullington and Paula Carpenter (Jason); his grandchildren, Dorian and Ella Carpenter; his sister Faye Weston; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Young, Genia Kimbrough, Troy Weston and Scott Lee.
