He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar V. Hicks, Sr. and Bonnie Freeman Hicks; and his son Trevor J. Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Hicks; his children, Derek V. Hicks (Lynn) and Kristie L. Noble (Ralph); his grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail, Ashley Anna, Nicholas and Rebecca; and his siblings, Linda F. Wicker and Rickey L. Hicks.
