She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Holdway and Gertrude "Daute" Holdway; her husband Lynton Sawyer, Sr.; her son Randy Sawyer; and her sisters, Peggy Rouse and Janice Smith.
She is survived by: her son Lynton Sawyer, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mollie Sawyer; her niece Kathy Norris; and her nephew Jeffrey Holt. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Dover Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
