She was predeceased by: her husband Charles P. Guffey; her son Byron Guffey; and her parents, Jave Surratt and Alice Surratt. She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Margaret Todd (James) and Joan (J. W. Spoon); her grandchildren, Jennifer Cansler of Morristown, Angie Atchley of Georgia, Chris Jackson of Georgia, Preston Jackson of Georgia, Kimberly Guffey of Georgia, Charlie Guffey of Georgia and Brian Guffey of Georgia; her great grandchild Macy Jarnigan; her sister Betty Jean Chastain of Georgia; and her sister-in-law Faye Surratt of Georgia. She is also survived by several other great-grandchildren.
