She is survived by: her children, Mike Nies (Rebecca), Scott Nies and Tammy Nies Massey; her grandchildren, Austin Nies (Hailey), Hunter Nies, Shay Massey, Tanner Massey and Tucker Massey; and her brother Lawrence Brassie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
