She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Span (Anthony) of Morristown, TN and Charles Thorton, Jr. of Detroit, MI; her stepchildren, Lisa, Michael, Sheila, Dexter and Angela; her grandchildren, LaTonya Span, Anthony Span (Latasha), Shanice Emanuel (Adonis), Charlena, Roger and Chalicia; her great grandchild Gianna Emanuel; and her grandchildren, DeDe, DaKya, Andreja, Tesia and Robert. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
