She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher C. Peters and Nina G. Peters; and her brother Charles Cline Peters of Wilmington, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Starnes and Dwight Starnes (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
