She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Eugene Smith; her children, Marvin, Jr. and Norma Jean Yardley; her parents, Claude Collins and Mae Collins; and her siblings, James, Eugene Collins and Rosa Lee Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Sturm (Mike), Doris Jarnigan and Jeff Smith; her sister Betty Aldridge; and her children-in-law, Linda Smith and Tommy Yardley. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
