She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob "J. D." Reneau; her parents, Hartsell "Dean" McDonald and Ruth Graham; her granddaughter Sherri Simerly Jarnigan; and her sister Carolyn Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Williams (Fred), Kathy Simerly (Mike) and Harold Harris; her grandchildren, Derek Williams (Olivia), Michael Simerly, Jr. and Christy Purkey (Scott); her grandson-in-law Tim Jarnigan; her great grandchildren, Jessica Gardner (Will), Thad Simerly and Griffin Simerly; and her brothers, Harold McDonald and John McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
