She was predeceased by: her husband Hurdle Hayes; her grandsons, Randall, Isaac, Stefan and Ephraim; her parents, Ralph Potter and Emma Potter; her parents-in-law, Everett and Vernia Hayes; her siblings, Kotella Cupp (DC), Ruth Matthews (Porter), Wanda Hinkle (Clifford), Ralph Potter (Juanita) and Ray Potter; her siblings-in-law, Marie Darden (Bill), Eula Mauer (Paul) and Hildred Hayes (Fran); her nieces, Jeannie Lane and Rita Hudgens; and her nephew Harvey Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Hayes of Dayton, OH.; and her sister-in-law Beula Shelby (Townsend) of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
