She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Phillips; her parents, George Cox and Daisy Cox; her siblings, Tom, Dorris (Jack Twaites) and Jewel (Richard Towe); her daughter-in-law Gayle Phillips; and her granddaughter Destiny Phillips (Charles Cox).
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. G. Michael, Leslie (Angie Phillips), Johnny Phillips and Greg Phillips; her brother Bill (Linda Cox); her grandchildren, Stephen Sledge, Shane Phillips, Joshua Phillips and Chandie Sledge; her great grandchildren, Logan Sledge, Jonah Ott, Jalen Ott, Jude Ott, Dylan Dykes, Cody Dykes, Caleb Dykes, Hanna Phillips, Briley Phillips, Hunter Phillips, Chase Wilkerson, Gage Wilkerson, Logan Summer and Allie Wilkerson; and her great great grandchild Bentley Camden Ott-Ledford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastwood Baptist Church (2808 French Broad Ln, Knoxville, TN 37914). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
