She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Waddell and Lilly Waddell; and her siblings, Richard Waddell, Eddie Waddell, Jay Waddell, Carol Rowley, Teresa Lamb and Jeanette Waddell.

She is survived by: her husband Lewis Rickard; her daughter Jessica Rickard; her sisters, Doris Waddell of Greenville and Diane Sparks of Glodsboro, NC; and her niece Karen Outlaw. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
