She was predeceased by: her father Fain Ivy; her son T. J. Stapleton; and her stepfather Garry Brewer. She is survived by: her husband Steve Cochran; her daughters, Sarah Stapleton and Christy Cochran; her mother Margaret Brewer; her sister Laura Jackson (Jim); her nieces, Kayla Jackson and Janna Jackson; and her cousin Melissa Mumpower. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
