She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Tilson; her parents, Mervin Souder and Lena Souder; and her siblings, Elizabeth Howard and David Souder.
She is survived by: her children, David (Terri), Susan of Seattle, WA and Laura Watkins (Tony); her grandchildren, Jake Watkins and Maddie Watkins; her great grandchild Aubree Watkins; her nephews, Doug Howard, Dave Howard and Tom Howard; and her niece Sherah Howard Perry. She is also survived by special friends, neighbors, and caregivers.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home (146 E Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery (1121 Shiloh Rd, Greeneville, TN 37745).
