He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Hartsell Trobaugh; his parents, Elmer Trobaugh and Mary Eliza Williams Trobaugh; and his brothers, Francis, Edger, Vernon and Dale Trobaugh.

He is survived by: his sister Arlene Creech; his cousins, Johnny Roberts and Janie Campbell; and his close friends, Eddie and Dorothy Rudd.
