He was predeceased by: his wife Christine D. Solomon; his son Virgil Eugene Solomon; and his siblings, Leroy, Earl Solomon and Marie Smith.
He is survived by: his son Walter Solomon (Carmen); his grandsons, James Solomon (Holley) and Dustin Solomon (Casey); his great grandchildren, Connor, Kaitlyn, Brayden and Kyra Solomon; his niece Priscilla Davenport (Paul); and his close friends, Steve and Martha Gore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kerbela Shriners or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
