He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Shiflet and Leona Shiflet; and his siblings, Evelyn Birthrong, Janice Livingston, Shelby, Ralph and Lonas Shiflet.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Barnett Shiflet; his children, Donna Campbell (Gregg), Lois Street, Regina Glover, Sherry Calfee (Chris), Alesia Hybarger and Joey Hawkins; his sisters, Betty Green (JC), Eula Plunkett (Sam), Carol Mills (Bill) and Velma Stultz (Bill); and his sisters-in-law, Juanita and Jean Shiflet. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
