She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McDonald; her parents, Sam Southerland and Minnie Southerland; her children, David Coffman and Dinah Coffman Fullen; and her siblings, Glen Southerland, Blanche Majors and Opal Jordan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Harris and Holly Mayes (Steve); and her grandchildren, James Harris, Jason Harris, Deserae Harris, Tiffany Belcher (Scott), Mary Kate Shelton (Eric), Chris Mayes, Candace Mayes and David Coffman Jr. (Hailey). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
