It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine B Austin of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Woodrow; her parents, William Preston and Ruth Williams Bell; her parents-in-law, Jacob and Jennie Lee Austin; her brothers, Dean, James and W. P. "Dub" Bell; her sister-in-law Cleo Austin Bell; and her nephew W. Timothy Bell.

She is survived by: her children, John Austin (Carol), Philip Austin (Karla) and Jennie Watkins (David); her sisters, Mary "Mellie" Margaret and Carolyn Burnett; her friends, Jim (Lois) and Mike Bell (Robin); her grandchildren, Jake Austin (Brittany), Ben Austin (Amy), Melissa Best (Michael), Sarah Austin (Michael), William Austin and Steven Austin; and her great grandchildren, Macallister, Montgomery and Remington Austin.
