He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernadine Widdifield; his children, Michael Tyler, Jay Widdifield, Elin, Joan and Mary Widdifield; his grandchildren, Nicholas Haag, Emily (Cash Trent), Natile Johnson, Sam (Mark Abercrombie), Olivia (Henry McCabe) and Grace (Lauren Widdifield); his sister Mildred Bryson; and his stepdaughters, Stephanie Dockery and Amy Trent.
