He was predeceased by: his father John Barber Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Barber; his close friend Robin Cole; his children, Desiree Barber and Carter J. Barber of New York; his stepdaughter Jessi Bush; and his sister Rhonda Garrett (Tim) of New York. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
