He was predeceased by: his wife Lodis Adams; and his sisters, Brenda Adams, Judy Adams, Mary Lou Ashley and Betty Newsome (Darrell).
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey "Jeff" Adams (Emily Taylor); his grandchildren, Colby Adams (Taylor Graham), Tyler Adams (Haley), Sadie Taylor (Austin), Molly Rogers (Jamie) and Zachary Taylor; his great grandchildren, Declan, Eleanor Rogers and Delilah Barlow; and his siblings, Debbie Caudill (Doyle), Ruth Hunley, Jerry Adams (Phylis) and Roger Adams (Lucille). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
