She was predeceased by: her mother Fannie Morelock; her husband John Ervin Carter; and her son Tommy Carter. She is survived by: her son Robert John Pedro Carter (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Jack Chesworth, Laila Carter, Tayson Smith and Tommy Gulley; and her daughter Patricia.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church of Morristown and Morristown Humane Society in memory of Jean Carter.
