She is survived by: her children, Donald, Jr. Cook (Ruby), Amy Wright (Don) of Midway, TN and Tracy Rodriguez (Freddi) of Monroe, NC; her grandchildren, Moriah, Freddi, Jr. and Charity; and her siblings, Dr. Ronnie Simpson (Frances) of Concord, NC and Terry Simpson (Rhonda) of Indian Trail, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
