In loving memory of Janet Marie Clevenger of Morristown, Tennessee, who departed this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 54. Janet leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Allen Dale and William "Willie" Dale; her mother Mary Nash Bentley; and her stepfather Roger Dale Bentley. She is survived by: her husband Elvis Clevenger; her son James Susong (Christian); her father James Owens of Middlesboro; her siblings, Jequitta Owens and Matt Owens of Grainger County; her stepchildren, Chasity Hutsell and Christopher "Chris" Clevenger (Robin); and her stepgrandchildren, Emma, Alexia Hutsell, Finn Clevenger, Natalie and Cody Watson. She is also survived by several nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home (200 Jaybird Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wright Family Cemetery (809 County Line Rd, Mooresburg, TN 37811).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Allen Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
