He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann West Smith; his daughters, Sara McElroy (Johnny) and Jesse Smith; his grandson Jonathan "JJ" McElroy; his stepson Scotty Bloomer; his father Jim Smith; and his siblings, Kim Wolfe (Stanley) and Jason Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
