He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Mae Kyle (Jones); his son James Robert; and his adoptive sons, Clarence, James Jones and Prinston Antonio Talley.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Betty Johnson (George) of Akron Ohio; and his friends, Robert Davis, J. P. Hall and Raymond Far. He is also survived by grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
