James Alden Fitzwater Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Alden Fitzwater of Morristown, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Fitzwater and Stella Fitzwater of Clay, WV; and his siblings, Curtis, Byrom, Charles Fitzwater, Elsie Friend and Nina Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette "Jean" Fitzwater; his daughters, Julia Everett, Judith Finchum (Randy) and Marsha O'Brient (Jeff); his stepdaughters, Kathy Ayer and Lettie Shelton (Jon); and his brother Versal Fitzwater (Sharon). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Boys and Girls Club in his memory would be appreciated.
