He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence James and Mary Edith Caroline Morgan (Roach); his parents-in-law, Will Ed Compton and Narrisa Irene Compton Wilford; his sister-in-law Sue Compton (Hale); and his niece Patricia Ann Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife Lila Faye (Compton); his son Todd Alan Morgan (Steven Hinkle); his brothers, Jack Morgan (Carolyn) and Leon Morgan (Ruth); his siblings-in-law, Velma Wright (Charles), Vivian Watts (Bill) and Will Ed Compton, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Bryant (Kevin), Cynthia Haun (Robert), Kim Wise (Michael), Deanene Catani (Thomas), Beverly Jones (Garrick), Scott Morgan (Nancy) and Darin Watts.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
