He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ed Collins and Mary Esther Susong Collins; and his siblings, Virgil Wayne Collins, Joe Howard Collins and Betty Lois Collins Lambe.
He is survived by: his wife Mozell "Mo" Collins; his children, Derrick Brannon Collins (Christy) and Tiffany Machelle Collins Webb (Daniel); his brothers, Steve Edward Collins (Jean) and Harry Lynn Collins (Sarah); his siblings-in-law, Ann Collins and Tracy Lambe; and his grandchildren, Jayden Webb, Mackenzie Collins, Addi Webb, Macie Collins and Jack Webb. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Russellville Baptist Church Playground Fund at P.O. Box 175, Russellville, TN 37860.
