He was predeceased by: his wife Ona Cook; his parents, Claude Cook and Lucy Mae Cook; his siblings, Sammie Cook and Fern Collins; his niece Chris Collins Parker; and his parents-in-law, Dale and Ruth Solomon.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara, Chris McCamey, Perry and Michelle Cook; his grandsons, Tyler, Vanna Cook, Colby and Lauren Cook; his nephew Sandy Collins; and his siblings-in-law, Gladys Solomon, Wayne Solomon and Billie Rae Solomon.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Chapel (200 Jaybird Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
