He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smith Courtney of Morristown; his daughter Lesa; his children-in-law, Scott Baker of Dandridge and Stacy Courtney (Mark Froncek) of Lenoir City; his grandchildren, Caroline, Chloe Courtney, Claire Courtney Hindman, Isabelle Baker and Conner Andrew Courtney; his great grandchild Tucker Kennedy Hindman of Knoxville; and his siblings, Kenneth Courtney of Church Hill and Jessie Courtney Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
