She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Moore and Hattie Moore; her parents-in-law, Winnie and Dave Messer (Edgar Messer); her son Mike; her daughters-in-law, Helen Messer and Darlene Messer; her grandchildren, Tony Turner, Tammy Strange, Lisa Sinard and Sandy Messer; and her great grandchildren, Chad Strange and Seth Satterfield.

She is survived by: her children, Ej Messer of Morristown, Randy Messer (Janice) of Morristown, Doris Hall (Roger) of Morristown, Rose White (Robert) of Newport, Linda Taylor (Michael) of Talbott and Jean Sinard (Gill) of Talbott; and her sisters, Cora Wilson of Dandridge, Edna Woody of Morristown and Sally Chaney of North Carolina. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
