He is survived by: his children, Penny Jo (Randy Shelnut) and Kelly H. Long (Brooke Singleton); his grandchildren, Blake Greene, Ashley Offutt, Lauren Greene and Drew Shelnut; his siblings, Jerry (Phyllis Cantrell), David (Patsy Jenkins), Jim (Connie Habera), Pat (Jim Bowlin) and Rick Long; and his close friends, Carolyn Barbee and Eddie Scearce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
