He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Mattie Sue Mutter; and his grandsons, Kevin Owen and Landon Milligan. He is survived by: his wife Janice Grooms Mutter; his children, Allen Lee Mutter (Tammy), Terri Milligan (Mark), Mark Mutter and Keith Mutter (Amy); his grandchildren, Bryson Mutter and Ashley Mutter; his great grandchildren, Arista Owen and Austin Owen; and his siblings, Michael Mutter, Larry Mutter, Donnie Mutter, Carlene Brotherton, Rhonda Blair and Debra Simpson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
