He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertie Skeens and Gladys Keen Skeens of Grundy Va; his grandparents, Mose, Martha Sawyers Keen, Linkous and Maggie Stiltner Skeens; his daughter Lori Skeens Anson Cook; his grandsons, Timothy Anson and Dewayne Stacy; and his brothers, Ray, Estil, Bobby and Otis Skeens.
He is survived by: his friend Ms Beulah Skeens of Mtn City; his son Hassell; and his grandchildren, Amanda Skeens of Ga and Ambor Gaither of Ga. He is also survived by his former wife, mother of his children.
